Dear Oak Creek Cougar Families,
I'm truly honored to serve as the Assistant Principal at Oak Creek Elementary and proud to be associated with such great people.
I will be embarking on my thirteenth year in education. I graduated in May 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Colorado Denver, and after graduating, I accepted a position at Denver Public School, working there for six years. After moving to Falcon in 2016, I accepted a position in District 49 as a teacher and instructional coach. I earned my master’s degree from Argosy University, Denver, before moving into an administrator role. My journey with Harrison School District Two began three years ago as an Instructional Coach prior to becoming an Assistant Principal.
My husband and I are both Colorado natives and we have one son and two corgis! As a family, we enjoy camping, golfing, and racing cars. I also enjoy reading, crafting, and shopping when time allows.
I am excited about the opportunity to meet the needs of ALL students and families as we continue to build meaningful relationships and give students a strong start to help them be successful wherever life may take them. I am committed to supporting Oak Creek Elementary School’s mission to Empower, Inspire, and Nurture!
It is going to be a wonderful year and I am excited about the remarkable things ahead.
Yours in education,
Amanda Martin
