Community Partnership for Child Development (Preschool)
Harrison School District 2 partners with Community Partnership for Child Development (CPCD) giving children a head start offering the following early childhood education programs:
- Early Head Start - Programs for expectant moms and infant/toddler classrooms for newborns to children 3 years old
- Head Start - Early childhood education programs for children 3 to 5 years old
- Colorado Universal Pre-K (UPK) - Children 3 to 5 years old
Most classes are held in a D2 school with some center-based.

Mon-Fri 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. If you are enrolling, you must arrive by 3:30 pm.
Open year round, except for holidays, spring break, and winter break.
CPCD will help you find the right fit for your child and YOU! Early Head Start and Head Start have income eligibility guidelines while UPK does not.
What to bring with you to enroll:
- Child's birth certificate
- Child's immunization records
- Proof of income (Tax Return, previous year's W-2, pay stubs/LES, SNAP or TANF paperwork) PLEASE NOTE: SNAP is an automatic qualifier for CPCD Early/Head Start programs.
- Child's IFSP (Individual Family Service Plan) or IEP (Individual Education Plan) if applicable
- Parent's Picture ID
